The Subaru 4WD Club Of Queensland is a family oriented outdoor organization of like-minded individuals who enjoy the challenge of off-road driving in a smaller 4WD vehicle that will still get them to just about all of the out-of-the-way places that larger 4WD vehicles can go.

Traveling with the club provides safety, security and peace of mind that enables members to fully exploit the capabilities of a truly remarkable vehicle.

If you own a Subaru and have the same attitude, then give us a call. We are always looking for new members.

The club is based in Brisbane Australia, but includes some members who live further afield, and has affiliations with other Subaru and 4WD clubs throughout Australia. Although the vast majority of members do own Subarus, the club constitution does allow for a small percentage of other vehicle types among its membership. Other vehicles represented in the club include Holden Rodeo, Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi Pajero, to name just a few.

So if you don’t own a Subaru, but are still interested in joining an active 4WD club in the Brisbane area, we may still be right for you.

The club fosters a responsible attitude to 4WDriving and always applies a "tread lightly" approach to travel through desert, beach or bush. Yahoos aren’t us !

Trips range from easy touring, where relaxed social outings are the main attraction, through to hard off road trips, where those with a sense of adventure will find plenty to challenge both their vehicle and driving skills. As a club member, you can pick and choose the trips that suit you and your vehicle.

Most of the trips are run out of Brisbane, a comfortable driving distance for day and weekend outings. Long weekends and school holidays provide an opportunity to travel further a field - to, say, one of the offshore islands for sun and sand or to northern NSW for forests and hills.

But best of all, each year a major trip is run that may see the club travel anywhere from Tasmania to Cape York, to Fraser Island or the Red Centre.

If our club appeals, then we’d like to hear from you.
