Details |
Stay at Coopernook State Forest camp ground. Drive
the area and visit Newbys Cave, Newbys Lookout, Vincents Lookout,
Ellenorough Falls (one of the largest in the southern hemisphere)
and Rawson Falls. Walk up Mt Olive (a volcanic plug), and Flat Rock
Lookout, plus whatever else we see on the way.
It is touring trip so there will be no hard 4wding.
We will be mainly on dirt roads (Forestry roads) - this part is
rated easy. I will also try and arrange the NSW club and NSW forum
to meet up with us - more about that later.
We will stay at Coopernook for at least 3 days then
on to Stockton Beach for 2 days driving the dunes – (we all know how
much fun that will be) this part rated Medium.
Any park fees and charges will be put in the next
magazine.
You will need to take a week off work.
