Noisy Lifters - another view

Remember the two earlier articles on quietening noisy lifters in the EA82 engine     Noisy Lifters -1    Noisy Lifters 2 ,?  Well, one of our technically minded members has a different view :

There is nothing better to shut up noisy EA82 lash adjusters than to use a good quality oil, a genuine oil filter and a good thrash
now and then.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained by raising system oil pressure, as each cam box feed has its own pressure regulator.
If you raise the pressure of these regulators the cam lobe lube will suffer, Suby did their homework .
