What’s a Penfold Pack?
It’s your recovery gear!
 

Basically it is:
Something to tow with: (snatch strap, etc)
Something to attach it to: (tow points on vehicle front and rear)
Something to attach it with: (a pair of rated shackles to fit your towing points)
Something to dig with: (shovel, long handle is best)
Something to cut with: (axe or bow saw)
 
Suggested additional recovery gear:
Tool kit, including spanners and sockets, pliers, hammer, screwdrivers, etc.
Can of CRC, WD40 or equivalent
Torch or trouble light
Air or highlift jack
Spare fanbelts and radiator hoses
Cv boot repair kit including an old stocking, grease and cable ties
Gloves if you have a winch
First aid kit
