Permits To Traverse
In Queensland, the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service controls and maintains the state forests that the club often traverses on its trips. For most of these trips, the club organises a club permit with a maximum number of 15 vehicles allowed on the trip.
However, QWPS does not issue club permits for Mt Mee Forest Reserve. So for club trips run to Mt Mee, club members are required to organise personal permits before they may attend.
Personal permits are also required when traversing state forests when not on a club trip.
Below are provided 2 links, allowing you to open and print the application forms to be completed and returned to QWPS so that you may obtain a personal permit. Please allow QWPS a minimum of 5 days to respond. Note that the permits are free and remain in force until the expiry date of the vehicle's registration or of the drivers licence (whichever is sooner).
